Irina was born in Dresden, Germany and one of four daughters of Russian immigrants who were fortunate to immigrate to the USA after WWII. Her family lived in Illinois and Texas where she went to University of North Texas and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Art Education with minors in literature and language.
Irina moved to Honolulu, Hawaii where she met her husband and had two sons. It was in Hawaii that she met the LORD and her life changed forever. By the grace of God her immediate family also became Christians.
She now live in beautiful California where she has been blessed with the opportunity to work in the Children’s Ministry at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. Irina's official title is Operations Coordinator in which she is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of all supplies, office operations, and hospitality. In addition, she gets to teach in several classes and coordinate on Sunday mornings.
Irina's greatest joy has been traveling around the world to serve and support our missionaries by providing VBS programs and teaching their little ones the importance of their relationship to God through Jesus Christ. God has been exceedingly generous and abundantly gracious to use her in such important work.
